"Did God really say that......".
We all wanted to do the right thing, take the right decision to reach our goal but often confused by the battle between good and bad within ourselves. Most of the times we are not tempted by the areas of black and white rather gray areas where we don't have clarity. Recognizing the subtle trap of confusion is the beginning of recovery from its deadly consequences.
The two powerful antidotes to confusion is to be strongly grounded in God's values and staying focussed to reach the divine vision of our lives. We are living in times where we are constantly bombarded with lots of distractions through reels in social networks, alarming voices with various opinions, and peer pressure of the society sometimes even our loved ones. In the midst of all these chaotic situations, the only way to protect ourselves from the trap of confusion is to be deeply rooted in God's values. As it says in 1 Corin 14:33,
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace
As we fill our minds with God's values, He gives us clarity in our decisions by filling our heart with peace towards our decision. Any decision that lacks clarity is often not from God. So it is quite important to introspect the values of our lives to make sure whether we are standing on the right values or not. Another important aspect is to surround ourselves with Godly wisdom and staying away from all the distractions. The deeper we know God and His principles, the clearer we can make decisions with peace.
Let us stand firm in the solid and firm ground of God's values so that we avoid the subtle and deadly consequences of confusion and live our lives with more fruitfulness, peace and fulfilment.
