Give me heart of Thine

Lord I make your will
         to be my desire

         to be my thoughts
Lord I make your plans
          to be my plans
Lord I make your burden
         to be my burden

Give me a heart that walks intimately with you
                 as that of Enoch
Give me a heart of prayer
                 as that of Daniel
Give me a heart of compassion for people
                   as that of Moses
Give me a heart that is united with yours
                   as that of David

Change my heart to be a witness
               for thy sake
Change my heart to reflect your
               love in me
Change my heart to draw people
               to thy presence
Change my heart as the
               heart of thine Lord
